Lessons I've Learned from Spiderman as an Entrepreneur

This article is a submission for the Techsaucier of the Year 2018, written by Felix Wong.

It’s exciting to be a big Spiderman fan! You will find many things in common from an entrepreneur’s perspective.

He knows what Minimum Viable Product (MVP) actually means

More than 70% of startups fail because they have no market need, and they run out of cash by doing something inappropriate. Before Peter Parker got his fancy suit and the ability to control his genius superpower. He started making everything from scratch, wearing a suit like a robber and shooting whipping cream. But it is viable. He proved his way of contributing to society and people like it. You should really verify the smallest part of your startup and prove that you have the ability to grow like the evolution of his suit.

Starter Suit - Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)

Give and take. Heart beating. Unstoppable.

The following statement may be a bit over, but I believe you understand how you resonate.Peter Parker lost his uncle (How many times can we watch Uncle Ben Die?); the person he loves; later he forced to kill his friend for life. Even so, he is still strong, following his vision and saving the world. In such a storm, ordinary people must live a hard life. This is similar to the life of an entrepreneur; you will encounter many difficult moments; you will sacrifice your time with your family, friends and fools; you will argue with your co-founders. But still fully invest in your journey and aim for something really big and meaningful.

Gwen Stacy's Death - The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014)

An action that will change the game

Entrepreneurs always fail, it is okay. But have you reached your limit? Remember this scene from Infinity War? Peter almost died to save his squad. A young boy climbed into the space without wearing proper armor. Later, his courage left a deep impression on Tony Stark, and finally gave him the Iron Spider suit - just like getting an Series A investment. You need to work hard to achieve great success, and there will always be surprises when you do so.

Falling Down From Space - Avengers: Infinity War (2018)

The way to succeed is to really get up and go; focus on one thing, do it well; maintain endurance and find ways to balance stress. Always remind yourself "Why I started?" Don't give up! Try to be your own Spiderman.
