SCB 10X to invest in Anchorage, the cryptocustodian and digital asset platform for institutions

As part of “Moonshot Mission”, which aims to create long-term value through investing in high potential tech startups globally, SCB 10X recently announced its participation in $80m Series C fundraise of Anchorage, the cryptocustodian and digital asset platform for institutions, as well as, the first federally-chartered digital asset bank in the US. SCB 10X’s investment stands alongside leading investors such as GIC, a16z, Blockchain Capital, Lux Capital, and Indico Capital.

According to SCB 10X Chief Venture and Investment Officer, Mukaya Panich, “SCB 10X is excited to announce our participation in $80 million Series C fundraise of Anchorage, led by GIC with participation from a16z, Blockchain Capital, Lux Capital and Indico Capital. We are proud to be an investor in Anchorage, and look forward to bringing Anchorage’s world-class cryptocustody solutions to Siam Commercial Bank’s customer base who are interested in having exposure to digital assets, and other potential users in Southeast Asia.”
