Techsauce and KUMPUL Partner to Empower Thai-Indonesian Startups on the Global Stage

Techsauce and KUMPUL officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on January 9, 2025, to foster cross-border startup collaboration and global innovation. This partnership aims to create a stronger ecosystem through network connectivity, business opportunity creation, and various collaborative activities.

The primary goal of the MOU between Techsauce and KUMPUL is to facilitate international startup exchanges. Both organizations recognize that working together enhances access to diverse resources, markets, and knowledge—all crucial factors for startup growth. This collaboration will encompass several key areas:

  1. Publicity and Promotion on the Official Platform: Announcing the partnership with the corporate identity on the official website and social media, as well as promoting relevant programs of each party to its own network for greater reach.
  2. Network Connection and Cross-Domain Cooperation: Facilitating cross-domain cooperation through introducing related industrial, academic, and research organizations and networks, and supporting global market access programs (inbound and outbound), including sharing potential funders, opening market access through multi-stakeholder collaboration, and facilitating validation trips.
  3. Ecosystem Linkage and Exchange: Providing opportunities for participation, publicity channels, start-up hub services, business opportunity matching, exchange activities, short-term residencies, start-up courses, and other relevant initiatives to strengthen the ecosystem.
  4. Induction of the Local Investment Environment: Sharing information about local entrepreneurship, investment environments, and start-up programs; assisting businesses in expanding into Thailand or Indonesia via services like company registration, innovation tours, and site visits. Kumpul will actively refer customers to Techsauce's Launchpad services and Innovation Tour under a commission-based model, while Techsauce will reciprocate by referring customers to Kumpul's offerings. This partnership will leverage each organization's strengths to expand their reach and services.
  5. Collaboration at the Techsauce Global Summit in Thailand: Jointly supporting the event by bringing delegates to participate, inviting representatives from the Indonesian government to foster international collaboration, and encouraging participation through the setup of booths to showcase innovations and opportunities.
  6. Collaboration at the Techsauce Global Summit in Indonesia: Partnering in the co-organization of the event, securing and engaging prominent speakers to enhance the event's value, and strengthening partnerships to ensure a greater impact on the regional startup ecosystem.
  7. Collaborating on Projects and Opportunities: Engaging in joint projects, introducing potential clients or companies, and fostering collaboration to maximize mutual benefits.

This collaboration between Techsauce and KUMPUL marks a significant step in fostering startup cooperation between Thailand and Indonesia. It is expected to lead to the creation of a robust and sustainable startup ecosystem, enabling startups in both countries to grow and succeed
