As with previous years, MarketingPulse is bringing some of world’s best known brands to share their success stories. One of the guest speakers this year is Timothy Armoo, who built and sold a media company at the tender age of 17. Now, the 24 year-old is the CEO and founder of Fanbytes –a leading influencer marketing agency to attract Gen Z fans for global brands using its network of influencers on Tiktok, Snapchat, Instagram and YouTube. Fanbytes counts Apple, Nike, McDonald’s, Deliveroo and even the UK government as its clients.
Armoo thinks “the variable to success now is not about budget or how much you can spend - the variable is content.” He created Fanbytes whilst still studying at university. Within years, the company has won recognition from international publications like Forbes and Business Insider. Bloomberg has even described it as “leading the charge for Gen Z and millennial marketing”.
Mayur Gupta, Former Global Vice President of Growth and Marketing of Spotify will also be sharing his insights. Before joining Spotify, he was also appointed as the first-ever Chief Marketing Technologist at Kimberly-Clark. There, he drove the vision, strategy and development of all digital and e-commerce capabilities across the corporation’s iconic brands. The former executive at Spotify developed new strategies to grow its subscribed user base. As its Global Vice President for Growth & Marketing, Gupta also introduced a marketing ecosystem that connects the right artist with the right fan.
Forbes magazine honoured Gupta in its list of “50 Game-Changing Marketing Leaders” in 2019. A year later, the publication named him one of the “World’s Most Influential CMOs” in 2020.
Gupta will be hosting a session on how marketers can respond to behavioural shifts by using technologies in an era of uncertainty, as well as predict upcoming growth marketing trends in this age of digital transformation.
Best-selling author Guy Kawasaki will be making an appearance at MarketingPulse ONLINE 2021. Currently, Kawasaki is a brand ambassador for Mercedes Benz. He is also the Chief Evangelist for online graphic design tool, Canva. The entrepreneur has worked for some of the biggest names in tech. He served as the Chief Evangelist of Apple in the 1980s and 1990s. Between 2013 and 2014, Kawasaki worked for Google where he was a Special Advisor to the CEO of the Motorola division. He will be drawing from his experiences on what marketers should learn from the pandemic, how to prepare for a digital future and ways to connect with customers in the new era.
Besides talks on video strategies, gamified marketing, sonic branding and 5G, participants can also take part in workshops focused on digital marketing, to get the latest developments in social commerce, influencer marketing and live streaming commerce.
