Siemens appoints first Thai President & CEO in Thailand

Siemens has appointed Khun Suwannee Singluedej as the President & CEO of Siemens Industrial Business in Thailand, effective 1 April 2020. She will oversee the company’s Smart Infrastructure, Digital Industries and Large Drives Applications businesses in Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos.  

Khun Suwannee is a Siemens veteran with diverse industry experiences. During her 23 years with the company, she has held various management positions, and led a wide range of businesses, including the Communications, Mobile Phones & Wireless Devices, Building Technologies and Energy Management divisions. In 2010, she had also taken on a double role as the Managing Director of Siemens Limited Branch Companies in Myanmar and Cambodia. In April 2019, she became the Senior Vice President & Head of Smart Infrastructure, one of the major Siemens business divisions in the region. Throughout her career with the company, Khun Suwannee has held significant leadership roles and has successfully set the course for robust growth of Siemens businesses in Thailand, Myanmar and Cambodia.

In her new role, she will be bringing her farsightedness and strong focus on leading with innovation to rigorously drive future businesses for Siemens in Thailand at the overall company level across the focus areas of electrification, automation, and digitalization. She will also continue providing her full support for the utmost benefit of customers, partners and stakeholders in these challenging times shaped by the new normal and digital transformation.
