SPRINT Batch 2 Demo Day unveils joint winners - 4Ds and RehapHappyWalk

At SPRINT Batch 2 Demo Day on December 7th, 4Ds and RehapHappyWalk were announced as joint winners.

SPRINT Accelerator Thailand is an accelerator and incubator co founded by SCG Chemicals, Houston Technology Center Asia, SASIN, KX and TCELS, which specialises in science and technology. Months leading up to the Demo Day, as part of SPRINT’s accelerator program, the startup teams participated in a line-up of workshops, mentoring sessions and practice pitches to prepare them for their final showcase.

One of the joint winners, 4Ds, creates dental products to prevent and relieve tooth erosion and hypersensitivity. The other winner, RehapHappyWalk, designs and produces toolkits to help Parkinson victims reduce their freezing gait.

The 9 startup teams presented their pitches to a distinguished panel of judges, consisting of K.Mimee Lerdsuwankij (Techsauce), K.Mameaw Sapprasert (500 Tuk Tuks), Robert Lomnitz (Bangkok Venture Club), Dr. Sarayoot Eaimkhong (NSTDA), and Ernest Xue (Hello Tomorrow).

4Ds

Swimming in high acidic chlorine pool, consuming high acidic food and beverage, and aggressive tooth brushing are the most common causes of tooth erosion and hypersensitivity. These chronic pathological states gradually damage the tooth resulting in calcium-phosphate lost and tooth weakening. Bai Ka-pow Swimming Care and Bai Ka-pow Dental Care are the innovative dental products from Chulalongkorn University which prevent and relieve the symptoms obtained from these diseases. The calcium phosphate-acemannan complex, the active ingredient, would assist the recalcification that brings calcium and phosphate back to the tooth, to strengthen your teeth.

RehapHappyWalk

We designed and produced toolkit to reduce Parkinson’s sufferer from freezing gait, which currently has no curative treatment and impacts about almost 10 million people worldwide. Freezing gait can increase risk of falling, bed ridden and depression. Our toolkit can help them walk better with confidence and bring them back to society.

CMIT Robotics

CMIT Robotics develops a novel and efficient collaborative robot system for human support. The mission of our company is to provide a better quality of life for many people through robotic technology. Our high performance collaborative robots are developed to interact with human and the environment around them with high safety. User train the robot by moving them not by coding. Our hardware and Flexi software are specially designed to estimate force that allows our robot to be as much as 30% less expensive than other robots. This robot can replay smoothly just like human skills with capability in machine learning and recording position and force data. CMIT Robotics help companies gain high return on investment while reducing dangerous and repetitive tasks performed by workers.

Blackdots

The uses of biologics require cell membrane crossing. Blackdots can bring materials into cells with much lower toxicity, higher safety and stability comparing to existing technologies such as liposome, viral vectors and other nanoparticles.
