What is ASIA Hardware Battle?

Asia Hardware Battle is the open floor for all the hardware startups to shine. Every startup has a chance to present their innovative or technology enhancement products. This is the competition amongst all the business projects and start-ups from more than 10 countries ex. China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Israel, Thailand, Singapore, etc. The final round will take place on the16th of September 2017 in Shanghai, China.

Why Hardware startups should join ASIA Hardware Battle?

Talking about a country with advanced innovation in terms of Hardware, China has been ranked on top without any doubt. It is the the-number-one hub of plenty of Hardware startups.

Innovative development is emphasized in every aspect in the country such as VR (Virtual Reality), Smart transportation, AI (Artificial intelligence), wearable gadgets, and many more. Moreover, many technology-related industries have been supported for the continuous improvement.

Besides China, various countries, including Thailand, also possesses several eye-catching hardware innovations. So, it’s time to take the hardware competition seriously to encourage the development of science and technology around the world.

And this is a chance for Thai hardware startups to participate in the pitching competition to get a spotlight on your work. The winner of the regional round of ASIA Hardware Battle Thailand will be held on the 7^th of September 2017 at 6PM. The winner will be the representative of Thailand and will be 1 of 15 finalists in the final competition of ASIA Hardware Battle in Shanghai, China. This is a great opportunity to explore the world of hardware startups with all the excellent knowledge and experience provided, including new business opportunities and NOT TO BE MISSED prizes.

Eligible applicants must qualify with the following:

1. Must be selected for the Hardware startups in the regional round for ASIA Hardware Battle Thailand
2. Must be Hardware start-ups in Pre-Series A stage or raised no more than $5 million in value.
3. Must have prototypes available

Information about the regional round of ASIA Hardware Battle Thailand:

• Register to participate in the pitching competition of ASIA Hardware Battle Thailand
• The pitching competition will be held on the 7^th of September 2017 at Discovery HUBBA, 5^th floor at Siam Discovery.
• The winner will be the representative of Thailand to join the final round on the16th of September 2017 in Shanghai, China (free round tickets and accommodation provided)
• The application will be closed on the 5^th of September 2017
• The winner will also earn a free booth in TechCrunch, Shanghai 2017
• All the registered and participated teams without a winner title will also get a 8000-yuan discount for buying a booth in TechCrunch Shanghai 2017

For the 15 finalists at Shanghai, China will receive the following prizes and privileges.

• Top 3 finalists will be eligible for 6-month work in the space of UrWork in 7 locations at no cost.

• 15 finalists will have a chance to meet with Chinese giant companies
