SCB 10X presents SCB 10X DeFi LAUNCHPAD: An opportunity for DeFi developers to further DeFi innovation and participate in an Incubation Program

Continuously paving the way for a future financial world through blockchain technology, SCB 10X is presenting SCB 10X DeFi LAUNCHPAD. The program provides the opportunity for decentralized finance (DeFi) developers to win prizes worth over 300,000 baht, as well as participate in a 3-month DeFi Incubation Program.  The chosen teams will get to incubate their DeFi innovation and develop their business with SCB 10X and SCB 10X’s DeFi partners, while exploring ideas for funding opportunities and further innovative development. According to SCB 10X Chief Venture and Investment Officer, Mukaya (Tai) Panich, “SCB 10X aims to stimulate DeFi ecosystem and actively participate in DeFi community. We see DeFi’s role in bridging the current financial system to a new financial world.  We have continuously supported the growth of DeFi developers and DeFi startups in Southeast Asia. Our “SCB 10X DeFi LAUNCHPAD” is an opportunity for DeFi developers and enthusiasts to show their potential, capabilities, and ideas for DeFi innovations.”    

We will select 10 teams to “SCB 10X DeFi LAUNCHPAD”, a virtual hackathon. These teams will have the opportunity to present their ideas to a judging panel and join mentoring sessions with leading global blockchain and DeFi companies like TERRA, OPENZEPPALIN, POLYGON, BAND PROTOCOL and ALPHA FINANCE LAB. Afterwards, 3 teams will be selected as the top developers to win prizes worth 300,000 baht. These 10 teams will get a chance to be selected by SCB 10X Venture Builder team to join a 3-month DeFi Incubation Program to incubate their DeFi innovation from Product Strategy stage all the way to Go-To-Market Strategy stage. The 3 selected teams for incubation program will work closely with SCB 10X Venture Builder team. Those teams receiving good feedbacks during the Go-To-Market Strategy stage of incubation program will have an opportunity to present their ideas to SCB 10X Venture Capital team for a funding opportunity to further their innovative development.
