1. Krungsri Finnovate, a corporate venture capital (CVC) arm of Krungsri, joined hands with PTT Public Company Limited, AddVentures by SCG, and 500 TukTuks to co-invest in Baania (Thailand) Co., Ltd. Under this collaboration, Baania’s expertise in big data-based property technology will be leveraged for further enhancement of products and services including Krungsri’s mortgage loan business, and the retail business of PTT and SCG.

2. Siam Commercial Bank (SCB), through its FinTech investment arm Digital Ventures Co., Ltd., today increased its corporate venture capital fund by USD50 million, bringing the fund’s total capital base to USD100 million and making it the largest venture capital fund in Thailand. The bank also signaled a shift in focus from fund-of-fund investment towards more direct investment to support its digital transformation strategy.

3. AddVentures by SCG announces investments in Baania and GetLinks whilst building strategic ties with Builk, HG Robotics and Ralali for prospective investments, further growth opportunities, as well as looking to alleviating Pain Points of its industrial, B2B and enterprise partners. The company will join with a global startup innovations platform Plug and Play, based in Silicon Valley, to foray into the global startup landscape for a long-term venture opportunity.
