The 16 years old-prodigy Tanmay Bakshi is ready to take TSGS2020 stage

As a tech-enthusiast, it is not weird to be familiar with Tanmay Bakshi. 

Tanmay Bakshi is a speaker of TED Talk and has given speeches worldwide at conferences, universities, institutions, and organisations. He has reached over 300K subscribers on his Youtube channel “Tanmay Teaches” where he shares his knowledge and research. Bakshi also became an AI expert for IBM. But what shocking about him is, he is only 16 years old!

Bakshi’s interest in technology started when he was 5 years old. While other children played with their toys, Bakshi spent his time on the computer. At that time, he nurtured himself with the programming books he found on the internet. Likewise, his father, who works as a computer programmer, taught him how to code. 

At the age of 7, Bakshi opened his Youtube channel and began to upload tutorials on coding and web development. Through his channel, he answered questions from people worldwide. 

A year after that, he began to teach himself about iOS app and successfully launched his first app about multiplication at the age of 9. However, his interest in coding began to go down.

Two years after his iOS App launching time, he stumbled upon IBM Watson and started to take an interest in AI. Then, he created his first Watson App, “Ask Tanmay.” And starting from this, Bakshi’s journey with AI begins.

After establishing his relationship with IBM, Bakshi started to become a keynote speaker at many important conferences around the world. Through his speeches, he honorably received many awards: Knowledge Ambassador Award, Global Goodwill Ambassador at Linkedin, Life Mentor Award by the Hon. Lt. Governor of Manitoba, and Twilio Doer Award. Currently, he pursues more knowledge about AI in medical healthcare with IBM business partners, Darwin Ecosystem, Not So Rocket Science, and his mentor, Rob High.
