The Embassy of Israel initiates the Entrepreneurs Startup Competition in Thailand under the theme “Start Jerusalem 2017”. The winner will travel to Israel to participate in a unique, prestigious accelerator program for new technology companies. Additional prizes for the winner and the runners-up will be offered by our local partners.

To celebrate Jerusalem’s jubilee, the Government of Israel is introducing an initiative that will emphasise Jerusalem’s position as the most rapidly developing technological city of the Startup Nation and one of the fastest growing tech hubs in the world. This International Startup Competition to be organised by the Israeli Embassies and local partner in 30 countries.

Application Criteria

  • Software based (Mobile, Web, IoT, Platform etc.)
  • Seed Stage
  • Working Product/Service with Traction
  • Social Impact, Urban Innovation - advantage

Competition Timeline

After an initial screening of the applications, the most promising founders will be invited to a pitching event and the winner will be selected to join the Start JLM program in Jerusalem in November 2017 (only founders or C-level can attend)

  • Final date for submitting the applications : Aug 31st
  • Selection of the finalists for pitching : Sep 10th
  • Final pitching event and a winner selection : Sep 18th
