CMKL hosts CMKL Tech Summit 2018 Thailand’s first AI seminar gathering world-class experts from Carnegie Mellon

CMKL University announced that it will host Thailand’s first AI seminar CMKL Tech Summit 2018on Dec 13. It aims to boost corporate and individual’s technology knowledge to deal with the disruption in Digital Transformation era. The summit will gather world-class experts from the private sector and the educational sector to share their in-depth knowledge. The ticket is now ready for purchasing.

Dr.Supan Tungjitkusolmun, President of CMKL University, a technology-focused university under a collaboration between King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang and Carnegie Mellon University, the top university from the United States, said that the university is ready to hold a flagship seminar, entitled “CMKL Tech Summit 2018”, at C asean auditorium in Cyberworld Building on December 13. This summit will grant a chance for individuals and organizations to upgrade themselves and remove the pain points they have at the moment. The main concept will focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI), making this event the first AI flagship seminar in Thailand.

“The main problems of corporate in this Digital Transformation era are lacking of talents in tech field and lacking of understanding in technology adaptation. As the leading technology university with collaboration with the world’s first AI software developer Carnegie Mellon University, we decide to hold this seminar to help enhance the know-how and the competitiveness for both corporate and individual,” said Dr.Supan.

AI is playing a vital role in changing the world as well as the business sector and industries in the future. Therefore, the university chooses AI as the main topic for this seminar.

Dr.Supan added CMKL Tech Summit 2018 has gathered technology- and AI-related experts from the the private sector and the educational sector from Thailand and worldwide such as Thai Beverage Pcl, Betagro Pcl and Dr. Surakiart Sathirathai, who is Chair of the Board of Trustees at CMKL University, and a team of professors from Carnegie Mellon University to share their insights in the event.

The topics in the seminar cover from the application of AI technology in the business to the business sector and the industries that AI is playing a vital role such as retail, healthcare and agriculture.

In the event, there will be a plenty of booths from leading companies that pay attention to digital transformation and those companies which jointly do research and development with the university such as Thai Beverage Pcl, Betagro Pcl, Bangchak Corporation Pcl, SCB Abacus Co Ltd,.
