Thailand’s AI Company “Happener” Makes Its First-Ever Debut at the Global AI Event, Global AIE 2025, in Macao

One of the notable moves of Thailand’s technology sector is the international debut of Happener, an artificial intelligence (AI) technology company from Thailand, which officially launched on the global stage at the Global Artificial Intelligence Machines and Electronics Expo 2025 (Global AIE2025) in Macao. The company specializes in AI solutions, AI system integration, and corporate training, aiming to support organizations in achieving a rapid and practical transition into the AI era. Happener was founded by Dr. Panraphee Raphiphan, a well-known figure with extensive experience in Thailand’s media and technology industries.

The Global Artificial Intelligence Machines and Electronics Expo (AIE) is a world-class exhibition of artificial intelligence machinery and intelligent electronics, organized by the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce under the theme “Bay Area Intelligence, Globally Embraced.” The event aims to raise global awareness of the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area as a key hub for intelligent manufacturing and technological innovation, while strengthening connections with international markets.

The expo features a wide range of AI technologies, with participation from businesses across more than 30 countries and over 1,000 technology companies, including leading global players such as Amazon, Honor, vivo, Oppo, and Intel. This year, the event was held concurrently at Cotai Expo, The Venetian Macao in Macao, and the Zhuhai International Convention and Exhibition Center in Zhuhai, China.

Happener’s participation in Global AIE 2025 was supported by the Thailand E-Commerce Association, Thailand e-Business Center (TeC)—both of which play key roles in promoting Thai entrepreneurs on the international stage—as well as the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce, the Executive Committee of the Guangdong–Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, the Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute of the Macao SAR, and the People’s Government of Zhuhai Municipality.

Dr. Panraphee Raphiphan, CEO and Co-founder of Happener, stated:

“Happener was established as a spin-off from our previous business, which has operated in technology media, public relations, and tech event organizer for over 15 years, in order to clearly define our role as a full-fledged technology company with a dedicated focus on artificial intelligence. The founding team has strong backgrounds in engineering, computer science, and AI, enabling us to integrate computer and AI expertise with business experience to support organizations accelerate their transition into the AI era. We do not view AI merely as a trend-driven technology, but as an indispensable strategic tool that must be integrated into every part of an organization without delay. The launch of Happener at Global AIE 2025 marks an important first step in bringing AI solutions from Thailand onto the international stage.”

During the expo, the Happener booth attracted strong interest from executives from Thailand, corporate leaders, buyers, and visitors from multiple countries, with a steady flow of attendees throughout the exhibition. One of the key highlights at the booth was the demonstration of one of Happener’s AI solutions, “Oong Oong,” a real-time AI mascot developed as an AI agent specifically for the Global AIE 2025 use case. Oong Oong serves as an intelligent real-time assistant through voice-based interaction, supporting three languages—Thai, English, and Chinese—and is capable of engaging in conversations, answering questions about exhibition booths and products, displaying maps, singing, dancing, and interacting with both event participants and other AI agents. The solution’s capabilities can also be expanded based on organizational requirements, including customized mascot or avatar designs and use-case-specific implementations, within a secure and appropriate operational framework.

Happener stated that the company aims to position itself as an AI partner for organizations of all sizes, focusing on the development of practical AI solutions that can be implemented within reasonable budgets. The goal is to support organizations in initiating or scaling AI adoption in an efficient, rapid, and sustainable manner.
