Frasers Property Thailand Rolls Out UV-Disinfecting Robots

FRASERS PROPERTY THAILAND ROLLS OUT UV-DISINFECTING MOBILE ROBOTS AT ITS PROPERTIES IN ALL BUSINESS CLASSES

Frasers Property (Thailand) Public Company Limited or “FPT”, the first company with a fully integrated real estate platform in Thailand, introduces the use of UV-Disinfecting mobile robots at its properties across residential, industrial and commercial asset classes. Together with PBA Robotics (Thailand) (“PBA”),a joint venture company between Frasers Property Thailand and PBA Group,  UV-disinfecting autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) – called Sunburst UV Bots – has been adopted as part of a series of measures undertaken by Frasers Property Thailand to fight against the new wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The AMR is designed to automate the laborious and intensive process of manually disinfecting public space with high accuracy. The robot can eliminate 99.90% of bacteria and viruses - both airborne and droplet - by delivering the precise dosage of UVC energy. The technology provides safety to people as it requires no human-operators and, unlike cleaning by chemicals, it leaves no residues.

The Sunburst UV Bots have been introduced to the residential asset class at the Grand Rama 2, the industrial asset class in Bangplee area, and the commercial asset class at Samyan Mitrtown and Mitrtown Office.

Frasers Property Thailand is committed to providing a safe and hygienic environment to our customers, tenants, shoppers and employees. Having PBA Robotics Thailand as our partner allows us to use the high technology solution in battling the pandemic. This will ensure the ongoing health and safety of our stakeholders. We continue to closely monitor the Covid-19 situation and to ensure that operations are carried out in a safe, effective and responsive manner.
