Haier Model Research Institute (HMI) creates a Global Strategic Partnership with SEAC through the establishment of the Southeast Asia Innovation Management Research Center
Haier Model Research Institute (HMI) is joining forces with SEAC (Southeast Asia Center) to create the Southeast Asia Innovation Management Research Center. This partnership creates a regional leader in organizational innovation and applied learning, which will benefit all stakeholders.
This agreement brings together two complementary enterprises and establishes an effective learning ecosystem model for cross-border cooperation between China, Thailand, and elsewhere in Southeast Asia.
Mr. Zhang Ruimin, Chairman and CEO of Haier Group, said: "This strategic collaboration provides a new starting point for both HMI and SEAC, and I am confident that this partnership will deliver enhanced value to the stakeholders of both companies. Furthermore, we share common goals that we hope to achieve together: Enhancing the value of the Haier and SEAC by developing our learning ecosystem partners through encouraging autonomous innovation and cooperation."
Ms. Arinya Talerngsri, Managing Director of SEAC, said: "We are very pleased to partner with HMI through our Contextualized Solutions Learning Platform to launch this new partnership for facilitating innovation through organizational leadership.”
“A global pandemic has fundamentally changed our world, quickening the global shift to digital services delivery, disrupting supply chains, and posing serious challenges for Thailand’s tourism and education sectors,” Ms. Arinya added. “Following consultations with our clients, we have identified multiple opportunities for the new Southeast Asia Innovation Management Research Center. Our work can help regional organizations capitalize on global shifts by planning and executing organizational innovations to remain viable in turbulent times. We see the opportunity to work together with HMI to co-build the IMRC for Thailand, China, and other HMI Research Centers throughout the world.”
