10 reasons why startups need a booth at Techsauce Global Summit 2018

With over 10,000 participants from 30 countries coming to this year’s Techsauce Global Summit, startups cannot afford to miss getting a booth at the “it” event of the year!

There is no question that the anticipation is great for this year’s Techsauce Global Summit as those in the startup industry expect it to be bigger than ever this year on June 22-23, 2018.  What makes this year’s summit different and worth it for startups?  With limited space, here are 10 reasons why startups should get a booth now.

1. Over 10,000 investors, media, and startup players

Last year Techsauce Global Summit drew in 5,000 participants from 30 countries.  The summit was crowded with speakers, investors, members of the media, and movers and shakers of the tech business, startup, and SME sectors from Thailand and abroad.  Everyone came whether you were already part of the startup world or someone who was curious about it.  The summit was not just an event but a platform that truly connected and showcased startups.  This year it is going to be even bigger with 10,000 people! That’s double the number!

2. Meet hundreds of corporations from a wide range of sectors

This year Techsauce has received support from leading businesses from various industries that are prioritizing developing technology and investment in startups.  Leading organizations coming to the summit this year include Siri Ventures, True Digital Park, PTT, AIS, Line Company, Dtac Accelerate, Digital Ventures, Add Ventures Capital, and Muang Thai Life Assurance.  Representing the public sector is Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau or TCEB.  This is just the tip of the iceberg with over 100 companies expected.

3. Get the chance to meet and pitch to investors one-on-one!

Startups will not only get a chance to showcase their business, but also get a shot at pitching to VCs too!  Opportunities to meet so many VCs at the same time are definitely hard to find.

4. Hottest issues and world class speakers

This year over 200 speakers will be featured across 10 stages.  The first group are stages featuring technology for businesses and industries that impact society and helps elevate the quality of life directly.  It consists of AgTech & FoodTech, HealthTech, LivingTech, and FinTech to give knowledge to businesses, startups, and those who are interested in how technology can help develop society.

Another group of stages involves topics and new technology that influences every industry.  They include Startup, Venture Capital (VC), Deep Tech Showcase & Head to the Future, Blockchain & Cryptocurrency, AR & VR, and Data Science & AI.

5. Meet startups from overseas and go global

The Techsauce Global Summit has truly gone global by joining hands with leading overseas organizations that have increased their support this year.  This year we will have startups from 20 countries that have won our Techsauce Global Summit Roadshow pitching contests.  The summit will absolutely be a door to the global market.

6. Join in the activities!

The variety of activities will definitely be up a notch from last year.  In addition to a tech showcase and business matching there will be exclusive workshops led by sought after experts.

One of the workshops has already been confirmed to be “Creative Tensions”, by the managing team of IDEO Tokyo, the leader in the theory of “Design Thinking”.  The team’s Mike Peng and Greg Perez will discuss how this theory can be applied to business.  This is the very first time they will be talking on this issue!

7. The chance to receive funding or join leading accelerators

In the past year there have been many startups that got the chance to join overseas accelerators from going to the Techsauce Global Summit.  If you are confident that you have what it takes and are proud to present your startup, we guarantee you will not go home empty-handed.

8. Watch 20 startups from the Asia-Oceania region pitch for the grand prize

The Techsauce team has been busy searching for the best of the best in 20 countries in the Asia-Oceania region to compete for the grand prize at the Techsauce Global Summit!  The countries are Shanghai, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, Australia, CLMV countries, Indonesia, India, Nepal, Israel, and Thailand.  With the cream of the crop, it is definitely going to be exciting!

This year’s After Party is not just a normal networking event, but a mini-concert!
