The Next Chapter of The Trials and Tribulations of a foreign startup in Thailand

Since the last chapter of the Trials and Tribulations of a foreign startup in Thailand, its been a busy few month with conferences, networking and meeting unique and interesting business minded people.

In terms of the Thai economy, there has been a massive growth in relation to investment and startups, pitching to international investors, all with a keen eye on South-East Asian businesses which will look to strengthen the ecosystem of this emerging continent.

From my own personal business perspective, I have managed to pick up some potential new clients from tech startups mainly and other lucrative industries to help push their marketing and content needs into the global market while sharing the benefits of the Thailand market.

Networking has been the main agenda to push my own business out there. Learning all the time from top industry experts in key areas of business, meeting investors, entrepreneurial like-minded people and gaining a wider perspective on the marketplace here in South-East Asia.

Bangkok really has become a hotbed for activity in terms of global business looking to expand and look to Thailand as the gateway to other emerging markets.

For 2018, the growth of startups, business, and collaborations in Thailand looks to increase dramatically with an array of global tech events happening that set to increase the global connectedness for startups and entrepreneurial investors.

Social media marketing will increase exponentially as every business must incorporate it into their daily schedules.

"Another support factor that will help drive demand and value of the digital economy is the policy to promote the Eastern Economic Corridor," said Mr. Thanavath.

This is a satisfactory revelation for Thai business owners as we see an increase in the economic exchanges and growth through technological advances.

Stay tuned for more developments as we progress in 2018 for the trials and tribulations of a marketing startup in Thailand as we delve into the pitfalls, highs and lows of business.
